Join Magician Sean Doolan for Magic on Main – An Intimate Parlor Experience, a magic show in his private library located in a historic building on Main Street in Windham, New York.

​Sean will weave his personal story of transitioning from trial lawyer to magician in interactive, mind-blowing magical routines. In this parlor show, Sean will demonstrate the limitations of the human mind through techniques he learned as a student of the ancient art of sleight of hand, and a lifetime as a trial lawyer.

The New York New Jersey Trail Conference

Since 1920, the New York-New Jersey Trail Conference has partnered with parks to create, protect, and promote a network of over 1,850 miles of public trails in the New York-New Jersey metropolitan region. The Trail Conference organizes volunteer service projects that keep these trails open, safe, and enjoyable for the public. We publish maps and books that guide public use of these trails.

Ripley’s Believe it or Not called it “New York’s Mount Rushmore.”  Some have called it one of the earliest Civil War monuments in the nation.  White relief carvings, over 150 years old.  The sculptures and the view of the valley make the short climb more than worth the effort.  Open year-round.

Zadock Pratt Museum

The Pratt Museum commemorated the accomplishments of Zadock Pratt, Jr. Incorporated in 1832, Prattsville is one of NYS’s earliest planned communities.  The museum has permanent exhibits on Town Founder, Congressman Zadock Pratt.  His congressional efforts include formation of the Washington Monument, Transcontinental Railroad and Smithsonian Institution.  The museum also hosts a variety of changing exhibits about local and regional topics.  Visit online for an updated calendar of events.

Windham High Peak (via Burnt Knob)

Trail head located on big Hollow Road
(County Route 56)
Great hike for panoramic views of the Catskill Mountains and Hudson Valley, the trail follows a 7.3 mile in-and-back trail that takes approximately 5 hours to complete.  Dogs are allowed off leash.
