250 Years of American Independence — Celebrated the Windham Way!

Join us July 3rd and 4th for a weekend filled with small-town charm, patriotic spirit, live music, family fun, great food, community traditions, and one of the most spectacular fireworks displays in the Catskills.

This milestone year marks America's 250th Anniversary, and Windham is pulling out all the stops with activities for all ages throughout the holiday weekend.

Help create a giant 10' x 19' American Flag made entirely of balloons with Crazy Christine Balloons. This interactive community art project is open to everyone—blow up a balloon, draw a star, lend a hand, and become part of this unforgettable America 250 tribute!

End the evening with Windham's beloved fireworks display over Windham Mountain Club.

The Main Street Community Center is a 501c(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to to building a healthy, caring, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all residents and visitors alike.

Main Street Community Center offers a wide range of classes and events for people of all ages.

In addition to our physical location, the Center offers virtual classes, partners with other local organizations and provides off-site opportunities.

The Center's warm and welcoming atmosphere celebrates the idea that unity is at the heart of every community.
